Re: South Louisiana Gators

Wow! It looks like three on the bottom are really nice sized. I've been applying here in GA for 8 years now. Hopefully my ship will come in....before it sets sail :D . I still haven't given up on the 450B gator harpoon. In GA you have to secure it, before you despatch it. I'm thinking a 450B line th...

Re: 230gr fmj's-which brand?????

gunnut, could you just drill a small hole in the front of those fmj's that you have (before you load them of course), and consider it legal for hunting? after all a hollowpoint is considered an expanding bullet. Or would that compromise the integrity of the bullet too much?
Just curious.

Re: New Powders from Hornady

chemical reactions are temperature sensitive, and as big as it swings up there where Hoot is, I wouldn't be surprised to see a difference, but 100fps? It may burn a little faster when it's hot, but it's still the same amount of powder. Here's some more info on those powders.... http://accurateshoote...

Re: Bushmaster customer support experience's?

Hate to hear about your experience. For your hog hunt this weekend, you could pick up a pair of sig 556 mags that work great for $30, and hold 12 rounds each. Academy sports has them on the shelf. I had bad experiences with Remington years ago, maybe they've gotten better :?:

Re: New to 450bm questions from indiana

I am very pleased with the accuracy of the factory ammo. I just shot a 5 shot group of 2" at 100 yds yesterday, and that included one flyer, the other 4 were touching. I've shot a one inch group a few times, but typically it's under 2". Oh, and I have a 16" barrel, the rem is an 18&qu...

OK, as a deep southerner, I have to ask... What do the crickets do? Start changing the oil in the motor home in preparation for the trip to FL?
