20inch 6.5 Grendel heavy barrel only f/s

Postby kottke_35 » Mon Sep 17, 2012 3:50 pm

Hey guys. I want to post this to you guys first.

I ordered this barrel direct from Alexander Arms a few months ago with intentions of building a complete dedicated upper. Well, the barrel took about 5 months to come in and the money I intended on using for this project has had to go else where.

I have opened the package this barrel was shipped in, other than that, I've done nothing with it. The barrel it's threaded for a muzzle device. I've exchanged a coupe emails with Ross and he said he would be glad to make a brake for it.

Factory price is 195.00. I will ship insured for $210.00. No need to wait 6 months from the factory, get it now!

This is for the barrel only. No bolt or anything else. At the timeI ordered my grendel, the bolt was optional and I elected not to order one.

Pm or email me for pictures or more info. Also check it out on Alexander Arms website.

I have a Ross brake on my 6.5 Grendel, though not because it's punishing to shoot. It allows me to stay on target at 24x as the recoil with the brake is akin to my 6" bull barreled 22 LR pistol. That despite the fact that I have it opened up to share between the 6.5 Grendel and my RRA LAR-8 (.308).

That caliber will send the Barnes 120gr TTSX over 26gr of AR-Comp, into a 100yd group like this, fired this past Sunday:

Nice shooting Hoot! TSD likes his Grendel too. I think he even had to take it out and play in the rain the other day to test some new glass for it.
