Fantastic buy on a Burris P.E.P.R "Type mount for $29.99. I have no idea if its any good, I'm just the reporter here, but at less than half price of the Burris..

I have bought similar off Ebay. They work well on the 450, I have not had any issues. I do check my screw tightness after each range session and I did apply lok-tite to the thread when I first mounted the scope(s).

Here is a similar mount with a throw lever. No personal experience, but has decent reviews for the price:

My problem with that one is it only has 2 screws in each ring. I haven't personally had good luck with 2 screw mounts and the 450B. Had 2 different styles come loose on me (pre lok-tite days). But I do like the quick release lever, I may pick on up and try it out.

I have three Burris PEPR mounts. One is on my 6.5 Grendel with 1" rings and the other is set up to be used for my XM15 with a Simmons scope, prezeroed and ready to go. The third Burris PEPR is a 30mm ring set up and it is mounted on my Thumper with a Nikko Stirling scope.

I use Warne, LaRue and JP mounts on my ARs. I did some testing and found slight POA shifts with the PEPR based on temperature variations.
