I ordered 2 of these AR Stoner 9rd mags and tried one out. I was very disappointed with the results. The one I tried will only hold 6rds before the rounds start pointing up out of the mag at a 20 degree angle. I'm sending these back for a refund, especially after reading the reviews on Midway site.

Yep, those rounds in the picture above are being held way too high. The 450b wants the top round to be held just a few degrees "nose up" to feed properly. If the top round is exactly level, or too far up (as it looks here) nothing good will result. There is a previous discussion on the forum here about how to adjust the feed lips for proper reliability, if you want to try the search.

I've seen a few bad posts about Stoner mags. And in other calibers too.

I've got Stoner mags for my 5.56 and my 6.5 Grendel. They work great. But this new 450B mag, well it appears that someone didn't get the specs right on the feed lips. If I'm not mistaken, this is AR Stoners first attempt at 450 Bushmaster mags, so instead of trying to "mod" them, send them back. That's the only message that Distributors and AR Stoner alike will understand.
