I'm also looking for a 16" upper. I'll call Walsh tomorrow and see if they have any in stock.

Is it this usual to not have ANY 450 uppers instock? I have looked high and low and I can't find one.

They are in extremely high demand right now. All the MFGs cannot keep up. Walsh should have a shipment as soon as Tgeir source gets their bolts made. Patience.

Called Walsh's and was told nothing till late February or early March for Bushmasters. He may have some Franklins ready to go sooner as he is just waiting on bolts for those. They are fully assembled except for the bolts.

I'm looking for a 16" (for hunting) so I guess Franklin is out of the question since they don't make them shorter than 20".

Ah well. I'll just build out the lower while I'm waiting...

Yeah, with things getting somewhat better, the Manf. are way behind actual orders. But we new this would happen, didn't we?

My advice is to get on several mailing list and except the first thing coming through. you can always sell the others and even make a couple of bucks or cancel that order, all together, after the first one comes in??
