Floyd, if you're getting one of them, I certainly hope you ordered it before mentioning it here. A lot of folks are cued up looking to pounce on in stock, 450b barrels.

Who is the maker on that barrel? Or did I miss it somewhere on the Brownells page?

I was able to get one of the Brownell's techs to tell me that Satern made these barrels. They are HEAVY, all the way out to the gas block before any reduction. You'll have to order a muzzle device from a custom maker, 3/4-24 thd is uncommon.

Good work. See where you asked their Q&A and they didn't answer you there. Their description looks like is says 3/4-24. They told you it was 5/6?
Did they give a weight on it?

I entered the wrong thread size, actually 3/4-24. Sorry for the confusion. No weight was given.

If anyone happens to get a hold of one of these mid length barrels, could you please post the gas port size (e.g. #42 drill, #40, ect). I'd be interested in knowing what size a mid length gas system port is. I asked Brownell's but they could not tell me.

I ended up ordering one of the Brownell's 16" bull barrels last week. It should be here Friday. I've only found one place online that sells a 3/4-24 thread flash hider, and that's in a .45 bore. I'm not particularly interested in muzzle breaks at the moment...
