FNG in need of 2 Black Followers

Postby BIGCOUNTRY » Fri Feb 05, 2016 12:42 pm

Hi, I'm just starting my new build and would like a couple of Black Followers for some Lancer mags. Can someone please put me in contact with Wildcatter?
Thanks and Cheers,

Welcome aboard BIGCOUNTRY!

Not sure what WildCatter is selling them for, or if he has any left, but you might consider PM'ing him.

Also, there's a fellow on ebay with some for $12.00 each, shipped. He has about 5 left.

Link Here

Usually when I link to one of these auctions, they wind up going fast as a lot of members like to "roll their own".

Wildcatter is selling them for $25 each. Not sure on shipping. He doesn't have very many left last I heard. That was around Halloween.

these black followers from wildcatter are the OEM, in the factory Bushmaster magazines
that place the first cartridge on the centerline of the magazine.
A 5.56 or blue 450 BM follower pushes the first cartridge to one side of the magazine.

I strongly suspect that the AR Stoner Mag OEM is using the same ones as WC was able to get hold of. I have an AR Stoner 450b mag and its follower is indistinguishable physically from WC's. The ones on Ebay may be from a different OEM though as the final finish looks a little different and then there's that 5.56 snap-in. Never saw anything like it. Perhaps they both are a product of the 3D printer revolution.

I had a stock 556 stoner mag and found on u-tube someone that used a 1/2 " sanding drum on a dremel. He sanded a grove straight down the middle. Tried it on a mag and it works well for the 450 but ruined it for the 556. The only problem for me is it now is a 9 rounder. Have to crimp the mag capacity somehow. :P :P :P :D
