Can the site be unclassified?

My office has gotten a new web blocker that prevents me from going to sites classified as "shopping" or "sports" or in this sites case "weapons", but I can access several other forums and sites that evidently don't have the classification listed, even though they sell weapons (which would classify as all three in my book). Not that I would go to sites that werent work related during work hours or anything ;) , but maybe during my lunch hour  ... Anyway, I don't know how the web blocker works, but if it could be done, It would be great! I miss all the daytime action around here

We will try to get the site re-designated as kittens, knitting and democrats for healthy Bambis. Please stand by.... LOL!!
Dang, I hate it when businesses do that. I used to work for a school district and let me tell ya, their web blocking was rough. I think even Stalin would have been impressed.

If you have a smartphone that supports tethering, you can link to it and surf from the ISP associated with the smartphone. The county that I work for is pretty tolerant of firearms enthusiasts. I can't tell you how many squads I've seen come and their history shows them to be a regular visitor to Gunbroker.com. The fools have no concept of clearing their history. In the Lab, we rigged up a secure WAP that we can use as a backdoor that goes out through the Cable TV feed to the building, for those times when a site we are interested in, falls outside the filter list. The one that seems silly is urbandictionary.com. What better asset for honky cops to have access to?

If you have a smartphone that supports tethering, there are plenty of how-to articles online for setting it up, or ask you kids. ;)

Too bad you don't live in Houston. The head of the metro transportation board here was caught surfing gay porn sites from his desk computer in his office. He was strongly cautioned not to do that any more. Here is one report - http://www.bloghouston.net/item/8813.
