The gloves I use are bright light blue - yours are kind of like camo - they blend in with the barrel. I'm actually a little jealous :)

It does work very well, though.

I've had to dump various crap out of barrels too...a couple years ago I found that Birchwood Casey makes little black Hobbit rubbers, officially called "barrel cots", 20 to a pack, for a couple bucks. They'll fit over just about any muzzle, I've even managed to just barely coax them over a 12 gauge before. There's one over my .450b Izzy flash hider right now. Midway sells them, and I'm sure lots of others do too...

here you go...

not too bad on price, i would not suggest getting any of the heavy duty ones, id go for medimum to light weight, makes iteasier for the rnd to punch through. Ive been using them for a long time, since i was a kid. My mother was a nurse and she thought we could use them as small water ballons (that didnt work too well)... i noticed they fit over my barrel pretty well and thats what i used them for. I only used them when the weather was bad, yes i got laughed at too, but screw 'em, i didnt want anything getting in my barrel.

and here is another site.

I've shot through these with no issues. The "cot" just blows up
Into little pieces.
