Probably the plastic...the plasticizer in it continuously "off-gasses" for a long time (ever wondered what that "new car" smell is?) and I'm sure Smokey there is checking out the new smell in the woods...

Here is a shot my wife got with her camera in SW Alaska last year near King Salmon. She was using a 500 mm lens and this was about all of the bear that would fit in the image.

I ordered another Spypoint camera today. This time I got the BF 7. Going to put it on a suspected game trail down near the creek.
