Bogus as it may seem the CA dept of fish and game has no record of my hunting license history. They kindly suggested I enroll in a hunter safety course (again) The next available follow up class is in Nov. (In Redding, CA) I'm stuck shooting gophers this year!

Chabot Gun Club has a one day hunter education course and test. It's all day long from 6am to 730pm, and only on the 2nd saturday of the month.

But, it's worth checking out.

OUCH! I had the same thing happen to me about 15 years ago with my archery license. Hope it works out for you.
