Two 450 bolt actions, two shots, two dead does

Postby dogsniper » Tue Jan 07, 2014 8:18 am

The last weekend of Indiana's antler less only season, snow on the ground and a big snow storm on the way, Saturday morning proves to be worth the trip. I shot a doe and bagged the second deer with my Savage 450. It was a thru and thru both front shoulders, BANG! flop! Haha. My dad got his rifles first deer, not a great shot, but took out the liver and she was dead in about 100 yards.

My deer,

Very good on the Deer.
That's a interesting Rifle. It's Left handed.
And It's make is Savage?
They have them listed in there on line web site?

You will not find this rifle on Savage's website. I rebarreled both of these rifles. My dads lefty is an older 110C that is no longer produced. Magazine release is a button in the side of the stock. I have done three of these rifles, and am doing three more currently for others. Dads is the only lefty so far.
