I picked up a 16" 450B upper from Midway several months ago for north Arkansas Ozarks whitetail hunting. It's had a total of 18 rounds down the tube, 16 sighting in and 2 hunting. :D

Killed a small doe in early October during our antlerless gun season.

This morning at about 8:30 I had this 9 point walk up checking some does. 250 grains of Hornady SST into his rib cage. Part of his lung was hanging out the exit hole.

It was 20° and I saw 14 does before he walked up.

Nice Buck! Congrats Bob! In the area where I hunt white tails, the horrendous winter last year and the wolves, following high harvest counts for two years prior, have devastated their numbers. This year 30,000 less deer were taken on opening weekend than the year before. I decided to sit this one out and wait for the herd to hopefully recover. That and vacations this year being restricted to 1 day didn't help. We should be caught up by next year at work. Then look out!

Bad BOB does it again!!

The lung hanging out is quite normal, as it is totally devastating..

Really nice buck!!! Love that rut thing.

Very similar to my 11/25/14 5 point harvest. About one hour prior to seeing the 5 point, I had seen 7 does & fawns. A herd of deer came down the far hill, with the buck in the middle of the group. Couldn't (didn't try to) count them all before I shot the buck. Most of the deer just sort of hung around for about an hour after the shot.

Again, you have a really nice deer with a wide rack.
