Anyone using their .450 on bears this year? Past pics of black bear hunts would be cool to see even if it wasn't shot with a .450. I always wanted to go after one.

This is a Dead Right Shot.

You will see some muscle spasms and some "Death Moans". But not to be disturbed, this is all normal. The Muscles will quiver, including the lungs. Therefore to the uninitiated, the mussel/lunge quiver will look like the animal is suffering, but not so this animal, for it is truly DRT (Dead Right There)! I assure you this animal died a very humane, instantaneous death, which "IS" a major reason I wanted a HY-Performance Big Bore in the first place. I wanted Humane Kills as you can see here..

I just tried to upload 2 blacks we shot in Alaska back in June 2014. Said it was to large. We shot 4 black bears total. Two that were shot with the 450BM never moved 5 feet. One was dropped with a 30/06 shooting 220 gr bullet at 250 yards. It ran into the woods, later found and dropped with a 500 SW. The other black was dropped with a 300win mag at 175 yards. the 450 Bushmaster is an awesome gun for any bear, black or brown. I'll try and upload later.

One of my spring Manitoba bears taken with a Winchester 450 Marlin (they sorta against EBR's  ) Working on a 450B bolt gun, but don't think it'll be done for this spring.
