Thank you all!!

Details.....first shot was a 241 yards. He was bumping a doe across a chisel plowed field. When I squeezed he took a step and I blew his liver to shreds. The bullet was in the hide just under the skin on the opposite side. It destroyed a rib going in and going out. I was pleased with the damage the factory ammo did at that distance, his liver was destroyed. I wasn't thinking and didn't take any pics of the wound or the bullet. He walked about 10-20 feet and stopped facing away from me. I usually count to 3 and if they don't go down I shoot them again. Second shot was 255 yards and hit a little low disintegrating his femur just above the joint. I totally blame this bad shot on myself....I may have been shaking just a tad at this point.lol He took off from there and tried to climb up a slight incline in the field and couldn't make it so he turned and ran straight north. We let him lay and went to find him in the morning because it was raining and I didn't want to bump him in the dark and in the rain. Not my best shooting, by far, but I'll take the end result. I was using an APF upper with a Nikon Prostaff 5 2.5-10x40 and Hornady Black ammo. He's currently residing in the freezer and at the taxidermist.lol
