Finally put one down with my 450. The 8 point was quartering to me at 30 yards and was going to come closer and straighter one. Didnt want that so I bleated him to a stop. The shot broke the entry side leg. destroyed the heart as well as the lungs. The 200 grain Barnes XPB velocity 2465fps exited neat the last rib a bit above the white belly line ( covered by the rifle). The buck ran 3 legged maybe 30 yards and dropped just over a ridge on my ATV groomed trail.
