Field Report- AR 450 Bushmaster pistol

AR pistol, 450 Bushmaster, 10.5” barrel, 100 yards, through and through, Hornady Black 250 gr FTX

I’m very impressed with both the accuracy and deadliness of this pistol. It turns out I hit her twice, both at 100 yards (97 and change, according to my son’s rangefinder). Both shots hit lungs, one hit ribs on the way in and shoulder on the way out. Both bullets passed completely through. I’d guess the first shot is the one that went between ribs in and out? When she kept walking I shot again. I thought I’d missed the first shot. Lung shots almost always walk at least a few steps- I guess I should have figured, but she kept walking so I shot again. Second shot she hunched and that’s usually a sure sign.
