MudBugs Louisiana Fall Fishin' Trip

Postby MOUNTIN DU » Sun Oct 19, 2014 9:59 am

I had the pleasure of taking MudBug on a second fishin' trip this year, this time a fall trip into the south Louisiana marsh around my camp. Our target was the Bayou Dularge Slam on a flyrod. A trio of fish which includes Bass, Redfish and Speckled Trout. A windy cold front tried to squelch our catchin' but we managed to complete our mission. I managed to get a few pic's with my phone but most are on MudBug's phone, so he'll have to add them. Good company, good fishin', good food, good drink, makes for good times!

yes, it gets cold in south Louisiana... sometimes.

hunt when it's cold; fish when it's not.

How did I miss this?

Sorry guys, I will post some pics also as soon as I get them uploaded.

Needless to say that I am falling in love with LA. It's a beautiful state with great people and Dennis is a great host.
