The Henry Single Shot was accurate but a bit brutal for this old guy, good looking rifle which is what made me buy it in the first place....frankly it's lack of weight worked against it for me at least.

A friend had an identical rifle in .223 so we swapped, I'd already purchased a BCA upper in .450 which coupled with my DA Primal 46 suppressor is a lot more fun to shoot.

Thanks for the welcome, I have 400 or so rounds of mixed .450 on hand and dies coming.

Hello All
Just signed up and I'm building a 450 on a Remington R30 upper and lower.
I'm also a fan of the Grendel and most anything that goes bag!

 Welcome! You’ll find several 6.5 Grendel lovers here as well! I have two ARs in the Grendel. One has NV and the other one has a thermal.

Hello from Texas !

Postby Moiecol » Wed Nov 08, 2023 9:20 pm

I started my journey in firearms, shooting and hunting in 2008 But since I'm getting older, I decided I wanted a big bore. So I found a 450 upper, new starline brass, 250gr jacketed bullets, a Lee die set and a buffer spring from Springco just in case. Now this journey only started 7 day ago but I'll be ready by next week to shoot.

Hello to the group! New here but "old" (74) to shooting, hunting, reloading, etc. Just picked up a 450BM (Ruger Ranch) a few months ago because, well, I didn't have one yet. So far, a cast bullet load with H-110 is what I'm working with.

Embarking on my firearms journey in 2008, I've recently decided to transition to a big bore experience. In just seven days, I've gathered a 450 upper, pristine starline brass, 250gr jacketed bullets, a comprehensive Lee die set, and a Springco buffer spring for added reliability. Excited to enhance my shooting and hunting adventures, I'll be ready to hit the range next week!mp bhulekh
