Hmmm...a $200.00 set of iron sights might indeed be a little thought-provoking.

Customers struggle to justify the cost of our products enough, if of course they havent used one yet... Id hate to make it worse.

Well, regards the pricing, I hope they understand that it costs a bit more for a hand-built and fine-tuned rig. As for the BUIS, I have often wondered why the price varies so widely, given that the designs and construction are not all that different from each other...? The ones I've used from ProMag, GG&G, and YHM are all perfectly good iron sights, only real dif was their prices.

i actually love the yhm ones, we use them a lot in the front with the gas block flip up.... only bummer there is the hood and upper part is all aluminum... i dont care, but some have complained already.... i guess everyone has a complaint about something

Why not just leave the sites off the gun and let the customer choose what he wants? Offer the upper with no sites for a base price. Or offer site options or just let the customer use the money he saved to pick what HE wants. This will save the customer money on the front end. That way you are not spending $$ on sites that a customer is gonna pull off and stick in a drawer. But give him the option of BUISs. Customers like having choices.
