How do you mean a little off for the 16" ?
I am going to get the 16" camo.

The BDC reticle on the Omega is for a 250 grain projectile at 2200 FPS. The 450B pushes 2200 out of a 20 inch but not the 16. You lose a little velocity with the carbine and the trajectory is different. Basically I found that the 250 yard circle on the BDC was dead on at 225 with my 16 inch.

I got the 3-9x40 from optics Planet.

Okay thanks, I'll check it out too!

They have a 1.25-4x20 for $439 at SWFA

No pics yet, but here's descriptions and prices...

Like some of the Eotech's? That would be pretty cool but I wonder how they would match up with our drop rate.

I dunno. They do have a VX-R Hog with a "FireDot Pig Plex", though, so that sounds promising for a short-range scope.

Those sound pretty cool... I'd like a closer look at them when they come out.

I put a Leupold VX-I 2x7 shotgun scope on mine. The dark earth NWTF version... matches my rattle can camo job. I've been pretty happy with it so far.

What type of scope mount are you utilizing? I have a Leopold VXI 1-4 shotgun scope was thinking about.

Thanks, Alan

Not sure who you are asking. I am using UTG picatinny
13 slot rails, (one piece). I will be switching back and forth
To a night vision scope, and I am still experimenting with
What will be the best set up for this.

Is the Nikko Stirling Platinum Nighteater 1.5-6x scope an answer to any of the questions posed here?

A couple of forum members have written kindly of it, including wildcatter in January 2010: Link to thread

Midway has it in stock for $100. I'm not sure if there are other vendors in the USA for this model.

The Burris Tactical mounts( I used the high ones first are rugged and well made) I had to switch to the PEPR mount to set the scope more forward on the rail. My scope has a lot of eye relief and it was hard get a good picture with the Basic rings. PEPR mounts were just right. They also won't break the bank. I got the PEPR for $69 shipped.

Nikko Stirling and Hawke are both really nice scopes that were intended to handle an airguns recoil both forward and backwards. Airgun scopes actually need to be tougher than normal rifle scopes (for those that didn't know).

I noticed that it is mentioned in the threads that the Nikko scope
Is described as a 30mm tube but midway describes it as a 1" scope.
Which is it?
