They are okay, but not great. I have seen some shift in POI moving PEPRs from gun to gun. Granted an inch at 100 yards may not bother some people, but it does bother me. If you are going to get a great optic, get a great mount. The Warne mounts are great and while they cost almost twice what a PEPR costs, they are worth it. I have taken them off one rifle and put them on another rifle (same upper receiver brand, barrel and barrel nut) with absolutely not shift in POI. They use 2 nuts and using their torque wrench, you get the exact same mount every time.
I had my .260 zeroed at 200 yards and took the scope off and put it on my .243. The drop difference between the two should have been 0.4" at 200 yards. The center of the two 5 shot groups was 0.5" and stacked right on top of each other. I'll take the hit on the 0.1" difference. With the PEPR, that would not happen consistently.
If you do it, don't change anything or use a laser. Sight in one at 100 or 200, then change and shoot the other to figure out the difference and then, if needed, just work up a dope chart for the other. Better than re sighting every time. BTW, the Burris XTRII line of optics is excellent!
