450 bushy and 300blk.....

I've done a little research and it seems like the 125gr 300 blkout round is pretty close ballisticly to the 450 with a 250gr ftx. I'm thinking if you could find a scope with a 300 drop reticle it could be pretty handy. From my messing around with the numbers for them I think it's only off by an inch or two all the way to 300 if both are sighted in at 100. Might make those longer shots easier so I thought I'd share with the hive

start with an AR upper :) its the easy answer, two pin swap to fun :)

if you're looking for suppressed 22lr quiet you'll have to go bolt gun though. my 16" suppresses quite well, but its not movie quiet or anything. my 9" pistol is a bit louder, and has FRP to deal with as well, but still more than quiet enough with subs to be hearing friendly without muffs or plugs

I agree in that using a AR Upper is the way to go. You can swap out uppers in seconds. You could either use a separate scope or sight on each upper or use one and just mount it on the upper you are using.

i see no point in swapping scopes when you swap uppers. it takes away the two pin and go part.

might as well spend a few bucks and scope each upper on its own and be done with it.

no fuss, no questions, no adjustments.

two pins, grab the correct ammo and theres no question if you'll still be properly zeroed.

the only accessory's i currently share between uppers is my suppressor & my brass catcher

I wasn't referring to switching optics. Just noticed that they have close to the same drops. So opitcs with 300blk reticles would be close for us.

I thought the same thing too about the ballistics of the two rounds, but I think you might be hard pressed to getting a .452 to match the ballistic coefficient of a .308. I went with the primary arms 300 BLK 1-6x ACSS, and even though it doesn't match perfectly, I still like everything about it on my 450. Also, with a ballistic calculator, you can find the scope zoom level where the ballistics do match.
