Anyone using the ATN x sight 2 on the 450 bushmaster? I know its only rated for .308 but want to know if it works for the bushmaster?

i dunno if i'd trust it on a bolt gun, but if its rated for 308 - in an AR platform the recoil is going to be similar for the 450 or less than 308 bolt gun recoil with all but the heaviest of loads.

i can tell you from first hand experience - 300 gr bullets with max powder charges is more like being behind a light (gun) 12 gauge running 3" magnum slugs than it is being behind a bolt action 30-06 or 270.

If be interested to hear what battery life is on the X-sight II

I have the first version and it was very needy, lithiums at 20 bucks per 4 would only last 1 evening...

Mine is very good on the batteries. I probably have 3-4 hours on the non rechargeable energizers and they are still working fine. I have the external battery pack but haven't even used it yet since the internals work so well. One note I don't run the wireless, gps, Bluetooth or anything else I don't need, I just need it to see the game, video and shoot where its pointed. So far I am impressed. The IR that came with it is good to 125 yards or so. I upgraded to a Uniquefire T50 and its good to 300 yards.
