Went out today to get my upper fined tuned for VA deer rifle season which starts tomorrow.. First 3 shots were about a 2 to 3" group, but the next three (pic posted) I held it tighter and got a much bigger group :D 3 shots @ 75 yds, off a sandbag, using the 250gr Hornady FTX ammo..

Very good point.. I WISH my eyes were that good.. I have a 3-9 Nikon Omega Muzzleloader scope on it..

I do have some BUIS that I need to sight in though... I cant install the rear sight while the scope is mounted though :(

I have read that the muzzleloader scopes work great on the 450 because of the similar trajectory. I was thinking of a 1x4 Leupold, but I read some where that Leupold makes a muzzleloader scope that is made for a 45 cal. bullet around 2100 fps w/ a special reticle for longer shots.

yep, looks like dead deer for sure!

our season opens Sunday, I'm in a shotgun/handgun area thou.

Maybe next year a 450B in a Encore would suffice. ;)
