Went to Optics Planet. com and bought a laser- holographic combo, Sightmark. If you want to have a really good time with your 450 buy one and call some Coyotes.

I use the Nikon Omega muzzleloader 3x9 BDC scope, It is perfect for hunting, the scope has added eye relief and this allows a much easier time getting on target, not too mention it is almost perfect as far as the BDC is concerned seeing it is developed for the Hornady 250 grain FTP with a magnum charge of powder(150grains) which has very close ballistics.

I have an http://www.aimpoint.com/products/aimpoint_product_lines/aimpoint_9000l Aimpoint 9000L with a Larue LT 104 mount. It works great, super accurate out to about 100 yards or longer if you have better eyes. It has very fast target acquisition and 50,000 hours of battery life. The 9000L was designed for big game/ large caliber guns so it's perfect on the 450 Bushy. The Larue LT104 is rock solid, looks good and easily removable.

any of you guys ever seen or played with one of these?

guessing they are retail prices and could be had for less with a little shopping.

My first post here. My Thumper came in yesterday and disrupted the entire office. Specially the libs-long overdue. Anyhow, it dawned on me last night that I have nothing that I can throw on this rifle to use as a sight or scope, so now all I can do is sneak past my wife and stare at the box in the corner of my reloading room. I'm tempted to run to the range and try it out without sights, but that would just confirm what the other members already suspect...

Anyhow, I've always wanted to put an IOR Valdada scope on something and I like their new 1-4X Pitbull model. I'd like your thoughts and advice on this scope PLUS your thoughts on how high the rings should be. IOR makes rings in Low, Medium and High and it seems to me that the low rings would make me scrunch over the stock to line up with the scope. The high rings seem awful high. Anyone been through this?

I have other questions, but I think I need to go look at that gun again.
