7mm and or 30cal Bushmaster?

What are the chances we will ever see a 7mm or 30cal Bushmaster? I know I'd be very interested!

my guess is slim to less than that. :(

But I've found this interesting enough to lose a little sleep over http://www.7mmvalkyrie.com/

Tromix did a .35 cal. From the thread, they are playing with the idea but would need to have about 500 orders to produce it. I would if I reloaded. Oh well.

Don't know about a 7mm, but Remingtons 30 RAR parent case is the 450Bushmaster.

+1 for the 30 RAR, I love mine, it is parented by the 450 Bushy but has a slightly larger rim diameter.

I'd love a 30rar but I can't seem to find much on it anymore.

Remington doesn't list it on the web site. I assume they have abandoned it. Can find NIB ones on web auctions occasionally as well as used. Ammo availability may become an issue if Remington produced few of these fine guns.

I have been able to find ammo for the 30 RAR on AmmoSeek at locations for around a buck a round. They may just be discounting due to slow movement or sales for it. Getting magazines seems to be the hardest issue I have encountered. It would appear no one makes them or sells them. The good news for me at least is that my 450 Bushmaster mags function fine.

You can find 30RAR s on gun broker new for around $700. That's what I paid for mine. The round just looks like a scaled up Grendel. Short and fat/PHAT.

What kind of performance are you getting from yours? I'm trying to sell my .17 hornet so I can get one!

It is shooting right about an inch right now with an occasional flier, but i think I am getting some movement with the scope. It's a 4 x Nikon with a 1 inch tube mounted in a 30 mm mount with cheap inserts. I think it can shoot better if I fix the optics issue.

Here is a photo of the round on the left with a 7.62x39, and 6.5 Grendel.
