Just finished her ! Never been more pleased with a gun, even took her first kill at 80 yards! Here is the list --- M&P lower, Nikon Inline XR Scope, ACE fixed stock, Bushmaster 450 upper, Rose Brake, RRA 2 Stage Match Trigger, Ergo Sure Grip, Government contracted spring and buffer. now just waiting on Nov 15 deer season in Michigan !!

Welcome Aboard OM and great job on your build! The brake is reminiscent of a Ross, minus the top ports.
Certainly dispatched that varmint, whatever it was (ground hog?) without prejudice.

How do you like that Ace Skeleton stock? I've been kicking around the idea of swapping out my A2 fixed stock for the Skeleton stock, partly because I like the look of it but mainly because of the cushioned recoil pad on the Ace. I just wonder if the Ace is too light, making the rifle even more front heavy. The recoil isn't an issue to me so much as the meat tenderizer plate on the end of my A2 stock. That thing is no joke when shooting during the summer wearing a t-shirt.

I have a ACE on my 16" and she is a little nose heavy, but not real bad.

The Ace stock is the best I have felt on a AR it shoulders more like a hunting rife now I really don't notice it being front heavy. With ever thing that was done to this gun shot side by side with a stock 450 on a stag lower and magpul collapsible stock recoil was 50% less! Sound from the Rose was not much more but concussion was more noticed.
