i voted 250 because i'm still workin' on 2 cases of factory ammo i got from my son. although i have been messin' around with some 200gr ftx's but haven't been able to test the terminal ballistic effects yet. hence, my vote for 250.

I touched off a Mini14 from there a few years ago. The tub made a great brass catcher. And yeah hearing protection will be a must. I'm more worried about the siding.... LOL.

We lost our lease due to a clear cutting operation a few years ago and I have had pretty bad luck since. I have no kills yet with my 450B. That's why we have spent the summer trying to get pastures fenced off and installed a deer feeder back in the cedars. My new deer blind will be sitting backwards on my toilet with my rifle barrel stuck out of the bathroom window. No.... That's not a joke.

And some people call you Texans "Hillbillies". I'd call that pretty "High Tech" and "Sophisticated". Using what you have, the local deer population is used to seeing it, won't scare them away. If that doesn't work build a two seater by next season a distance from the house where you could have all the comforts of home in their home.

We SE Coloradans called the one under the bed the "Thunder Mug".

Took a couple of discrete pics, but photo bucket has gone through a total crash and burn and won't work with my iPhone app or here on line. I still intend on having a full blown box tower within the next few years with electricity and heat. I just need to recover from the fencing project and pay down my Lowes project card.
