:) all good points pro & con, especially the one shot flops. :? but, i like to see my groups tight. not that i intend to shoot 3-5 times everytime, :| but to know that every shot; no matter the frequency between, will arrive at the same spot every time. :) it's also a testament to consistant reloading and shooting skills.

IIRC, the string of 5 that I shot over 38gr of Lil Gun flew about 25fps faster than the 250 FTX control group. Not sure why, other than softer copper causing an increase in bore resistance, driving Lil Gun to a higher pressure. Brass looked identical. IIRC, it was like 2235 vs 2210. They did fly slightly more accurately than the FTX's.

Here is the best group of those Speer 250 Grain Deep Curl bullets. These were loaded with 40.0 Gr. of LilGun.
Distance was 100 yards. The brass looked good and there was very little sooting. Taper crimped in the cannelure to .474".

This was my best group with the 250 grain shockwaves.
(Midway Blue Tip Blems) 39.0 grains of LilGun crimped to .474".
They only thing I didn't like was the sooting. It was aweful.

Yeah, almost no sooting on my cases with 40 gr. Lil' Gun. I guess what one grain makes it seal just enough?

I don't remember. With my prehistoric bench, I would lean more towards an unstable rest.
