Gunny is over at his Dad's in AL, shooting with a new Scope on his Lead-Sled. He is having severe problems with his range equipment and not getting very good groups. But, considering those problems, he's still getting 6moa @ 100yds with the 230grainers & 350gr resized bullets. One thing is for certain the 40t barrel wont stabilize the 500gr wont stabilize in that twist and we knew this was going to happen (a 16-18t is more appropriate for the serious heavies and the twist to choose if only the heavies were your desires). Whats encouraging is it looks like 40t will stabilize the 350's.
Green Mountain, makes a .452" 32t barrel for $88 bucks, looks like we'll get one of those, carve it up and shoot the Snot out of it. The 40t is OK for the lighter bullets. but a tighter twist might be a little better, or at least it's looking like it..

PS.. In the mean time for your viewing enjoyment. I just was sent this as a reminder.
This is JAN.1st 2009, we're having a little New Years Cheer. It was a send-off date or my excessive weight. I lost 150lbs after this and have keep it off. In-Other-Words (as I like to say), Excessive Shooting, burns Excessive Calories.. Try that on your Mrs..t
