The Sig web site shows aluminum 30 rounders available at this link;

I just ordered a pair, we will see how it works. 8-)

A report is indeed in order. How many rounds do they hold of 450b, do the sides swell, so as to impede mag insertion into the reciever, and does the last round feed into the weapon as normal?

Other than all that, Good Find..

+1 to what Tim says. I am always concerned when I see aluminum in the description, given it gives up so much strength, for the same thickness compared to steel.

Are the feed lips aluminum as well? Seems like they would expand in no time if left loaded. That's what happens with the plastic Sig mags.

So far, my poly Sig mags do just fine. I would never trust Aluminum though, for the 450 Bushmaster. It would have to be of the same strength as the upper or lower receiver before I would even consider it.

OK OK
My bad, I thought I had found the Sig mags that you guys were using. I guess I just got 60 more rounds of .223 capacity.(Never a bad thing)
Now, anyone know where I can score some of the "Steel" mags ?

Duckmanmark,

I do hope test these magazines with the 450 bushmaster. I have no experience with the sig mags the others are using but I think they are polymer, kind of like a pmag.

Please do not be afraid to try new things and share your results on this site. You will not be criticized for what you do here, unlike many other forums.

I think I speak for others when I say we look forward to your reviews.
Thanks,
B.

Dittos, and welcome to the campfire, duckmanmark! You'll find that you're among friends here...we really do want to know what you're up to with the 450b and its various bits and pieces...post it and let us know!
