100 bucks not bad looks good. I had planned on drilling and installing a couple small rails where I want em on the stock forend.
Three is two, two is one and one is none.

Thanks again everyone for all the great feedback!

Rifle is "out for delivery"! Should be able to pick it up sometime today and I can hardly contain my excitement!

For the scope I decided on the Leupold VXR Patrol 3-9x40. Leupold has a special offer going on right now where they give you free CDS with the purchase of the VXR. They make the dials to the specs of your ballistics so all you have to do is set the darn thing to current distance and you're good to go.

For the mount I went with the Leupold Mark 2 mounting system which is similar to the burris pepr, but without the rails on top.

I will be posting PLENTY of pics and vids over the next few days!

Absolutely..Now, gather around the fire, my children, for tonight we're going to have roasted kottke_35 and S'mores.

We tried roasting TexasSheepDawgs, but they're to darn tough and stringy..

Damn Right!! And don't you forget it!!
Have ya tried BBQ owl? We don't eat them down here. And for good reason. We are trying to save the trees and all, ya know? So instead of TP, we use spotted owls.

I don't think I have enough meat on my bones to go around this camp fire. Lol. I rather like myself too so I'm gunna be selfish and say just s'mores for us. ;)

Mmmmm.... all this talk about free range Texan and BBQ owl is making me hungry!

Smores too! I read on here somewhere that one of you thumper nuts eats smores with peanut butter cups, I'm gonna have to try that one!

Wait, what did I come on here for again?.....

Oh, that's right.....

Broke my new thumpers cherry!

20 rounds at 15 yards standing with a 4moa Konus red dot. Wasn't focused too much on precision shooting, just havin some fun. She shoots like a dream, but man do those rounds suck down fast! Can't wait to stretch her out a little when my 3-9 Leupold comes in, well that and when it warms up a little. I'm actually a member at a range here that has a 100 yard indoor, but the range is closed for ventilation upgrades.

This rifle is amazing! I am officially a 450 bushmaster fiend!
