Here is a little video I made regarding the extractor and the ejector of the 450 Bushmaster bolt. It might help or it might not.... Just throwing it in there for ya.

So i dropped the mag and and wracked back the carrier and the round didnt eject. So i wracked her forward again and it got stuck in the same position again, but this time stuck stuck. Finally gave it a REALLY good yank and the carrier came back and this time ejected the round. Worked fine after I cleared the jam, but it does have me a little concerned. Any idea as to what might cause this?

Nothing appears to be out of place, but i have had an occasional stove pipe due to some issue with the ejection pin.

I had the exact thing happen to me about two weeks ago. I was experimenting with some 284 Winchester brass and I wrote it off as a canted bullet seating issue. Today, I had the same thing happen again. This time with Hornady Brass. I could not get anything to chamber. I had to pry the bolt back to get the thing unstuck. I took the gun down, removing the bolt and put it back together. Problem went away. I got home and took the gun down again. I noticed a considerable amount of wear on my bolt cam pin. Not wear of metal but loss of finish that I have not seen on my two other AR uppers. I keep my guns very clean, cleaning after every shooting. A dirty gun drives me nuts. I think there is some binding going on here. I oiled and graphited the areas with the wear and hopefully this won't happen again. My two cents...

Great subject matter and the explanation was spot on for someone (like me) who has been following this issue and has taken down his bolt routinely for cleaning. I hope that you could find the time to redo the video with better lighting and focus. That would make it more usable for the newbie who is not that familiar with the bolt nomenclature. Thanks for taking the time and making the effort to do these instructional videos - especially when you have picked up an issue being discussed here and gone the extra mile beyond a write-up!

What I really need is a GOOD camera that focuses properly. I'm working on that too. I just bought that camera around Christmas and it turned out to be a dog too. But thanx for the kind words.
