I am considering the purchase of an AR chambered for 450 B. I am interested in knowing the ballistic differences between having a 20 or 16 inch barrel for the 450 B.

About 80-90fps, but the 20" allows you access to a little more performance latitude from slightly slower powders as well.

I've heard that the FPS gain can be as much as 128FPS faster out of a 20".
What I DO know is so far, I am getting 2500FPS out of the Mag Tech and Hornady 230 Gr FMJs that I have been reloading.
