Brownells has a unnamed manufacturer 450 barrel and bolt combo for $290.

5R button rifling and are machined from 416R gun barrel steel for a superior shooting barrel. This 450 Bushmaster barrel features a stainless steel finish, for superior accuracy and aesthetics. Barrels has a 1-20 twist, for excellent performance with a wide range of bullets. Available in a 16” length. Barrel features a mid-length gas system. Muzzle is threaded for ¾-24 and the gas shoulder accepts .936 gas blocks. Opposite side of gas port features dimples, so that gas block set screws are secured in place, preventing movement. Barrel includes 450 Bushmaster bolt.

Who is going to jump in first to test this out? I recently committed to the Trident setup, so I'm out of this one

I'm happy with my Trident, so I guess we'll have to wait to see.

Satern makes a very good barrel. I've had a 6.5 and a 308 from them, both shot sub moa with most loads.

Don't toss me under the buss for this just yet :o but I also have a 45 Raptor barrel on the bench waiting on a SLR rail. Plan is to run it side x side with my 16" 450B and see what shakes out.

actually just tested it for function yesterday and it ran ok with a minimum book load of Lilgun and a 240gr xtp mag. Just need to scope it and get some bench time in now.

Is it a Liberty barrel? Or is someone else making them now?

I believe Satern is the only maker, they have them in their barrels for sale section from time to time.

I bought one and I am just waiting on a magazine and a BEV block to show up, maybe tomorrow, to put it all together. I went with a 15" rail and the gas block was too tight, I machines .020 off each side towards the top but it looks like I need to take another .010 off of it. I'll post back once its all together.
