This is quite a neat solution to the trigger guard roll pin removal and installation problem:

Ordered one...I'll let you know how it does....

Have one you will be amazed how well it works. Works real good if you want to change trigger guard. Just don't lose the pins. :P :D :D :D

Slacker! Actually, I was just starting to work on a version of this on my own using a parallel-jaws pliers and the tips off of two 1/16" roll-pin punches...luckily, I hadn't destroyed any tools yet when I noticed this pin pusher from Wheeler...glad to hear it works well! I'll be using it as soon as it arrives to change out the trigger guard on my R15 in 30RAR.

EDIT: Update to original post...used it today, and works great! Well-made and has magnets in the pin storage holes and the pusher screw to hold them in place. Nice item.

I have one of these tools and it is ok, but in my opinion could be much better with a simple design change. When installing the roll pin, the roll pin should be able to fit into the tool, but the hole is too small. I saw a different brand of tool somewhere that does allow the tool to hold the roll pin, but I can't recall where I saw it.

That being said, the Wheeler tool does work, and if you are only going to use it a few times, you might not care.

Little Crow Gun Works is straight west of me. Good people and they make a fantastic, albeit not cheap, case trimmer also. Actually, all their products are built like they themselves have to use them. Not always the case these days.
