ASC is the OEM for several brands of 450b magazines, including the A.R. Stoner brand that Midway sells (at a much lower price than $42.00  )

I've got one. The design is bad. The front of the feed lips don't even contact the case body. It's only held by the feed lips at the rear, so the top round kinda pivots up and down, uncontrolled. It will probably work though. When the bolt head slams into the back of the case, the top round will pivot downward until it contacts the shell underneath it, then it will feed forward.

I have been lurking for a while for someone to find reliably feeding mags without modification but no luck.

Tony,
I have visited your website as I am looking to purchase a bolt/barrel for the 450, but I was wondering if it was possible to get a 16" barrel instead of the 18" you offer?

I'm sorry, but we're only making 18" at this time.

I use pretty much any AR mag. You don't need to spend a fortune for a special mag, nor do you need a special follower in most cases. I find the straight mags (20 rnd) work best with the 450 BM, since the straight wall rounds bind in the curve ones. You should be able to get 7 rounds in a 20 rnd AR mag and 5 in a 10, and 4 in a five - or something like that.

If you have some AR rounds of any size, try them out.
