Finally got it off, heat gun wasn't getting it hot enough so I busted out the torch.

New to the whole building an ar thing. Does anyone have any pictures of what needs to come off to get the hand guards off my 450 upper? I'm wanting to paint everything fde before putting it all together. Any help from you guys would be great. Thanks.

You will need to take the gas block off, then remove the free floating handguard

You may need to remove the muzzle brake as well to get the gas block off.
