Has anyone tried converting the 450B handguard to the magpul rifle length handguard? Post some pictures if so, I am thinking about converting it.

any reason why you want to take away the free float factor that these rifles were engineered around?

i can udnerstand wanting to get rid of the handguard but - IMHO anyway - there are a lot better choices than putting a hand guard on that needs front support off your barrel.


the 20" barreled rifles do have a forward journal that Bushmaster ships with a railed GB on doing nothing else than holding the rail part, so it should be doable with those. but if you're gonna upgrade, why not go to one of the nice lightweight freefloat handguards available these days instead of plastic.
