Greg, there are more side charging upper receivers coming out every day, both left and right sided. A handful also have enlarged ejection ports.
IMHO, that auction is not a good deal for a stripped upper. You can get complete ones for that price if you stay away from Gun Broker. IE look around. There are recent threads in this forum with lots of suggestions and links, some are downright great deals. Prices are falling weekly since the election.

EDIT: Check out This Thread and there are others. Also over on some of the non-5.56 forums like beyond556.com and mdwsforumchitchat.com to name a few.
In Theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In Practice, there is.

thats right at MSRP.

you can buy them direct from new frontier armory for the same price
https://newfrontierarmory.com/shop/side ... -receiver/

they look like alright uppers, and anything around $200-$250 for a side charger is a good deal these days.

bear creek has complete side chargers for around the same price, and theirs come with a BCG

BC's however is a reciprocating charging handle unlike the NF one you posted. which is "better" is probably subjective, just making sure you're aware of the difference in the two styles :)

if they weren't so darn expensive, i'd have side chargers on all my ar uppers.
