Finding Flash Suppressor for my 450 Bush Saturn barrel

Postby Nerd Hubby » Thu Sep 07, 2017 10:48 am

I'm wrapping up my 450 Bush build. I used a Barret Rec 7 receiver set, went with 2 stage Geissely and a light weight forend. Planning on using it in my home state, and on an Iowa white tail hunt which requires miles of walking.
I have been searching the web for a flash suppressor and not having any luck. The Saturn barrel I used is really heavy, so I'm trying to stay away from a heavy muzzle break (plus don't want any of that 450 blasting back my way while hunting). They Saturn uses that funky 3/4-24 thread,,, has anyone found a good flash suppressor for their Saturn barreled 450?

Can't say I've seen any for that thread pattern. I have only seen muzzle brakes and thread protectors. Maybe someone can custom make one or modify a smaller one?

might try here and see when they will have them back in stock. http://www.sbrammunition.com/458socom_parts.html also tap into the 458S crowd and ask them.

Biggest thing I see is getting one that close to your barrel OD, retapping a 11/16 or 5/8 thread shouldn't be a issue.

Just contact Ross and order a brake from him. He can do ANY thread.

My apologies, I'm new to this board. Who is Ross that you are referring to?
