BG defense
Posted: Wed Nov 29, 2017 10:03 pmI joined here a while ago and just haven't been active. I bought my first upper only because Michigan made them legal. Once I had it really became a favorite of mine just to take out and shoot. My 13 year old has a blast shooting water filled milk jugs with it! I had a bartz upper and I sold it to help fund a BG defense 18" 450. I am very happy with my BG, but it was flat out dumb to sell the Bartz. I have put 40 rds through the BG with no issues and great accuracy. It has not been as accurate as the Bartz was. I would group 3 shots touching at 100 yards with the Bartz and the BG comes close but typically they are not all touching. For deer hunting it obviously isn't an issue. I am a dedicated reloader and I haven't even bought dies yet. The hornady 250's don't break the bank and they shoot well. I have 3 boxes left, when they are gone then I will get dies. With all that said, I don't think I have seen the BG defense 450 Bushmaster ever mentioned here. I can't be the only one can I? Chris
