Highest Capacity Mags?

Because of things in my personal life, I haven't spent much time online in the last year+. So I haven't been on this forum in a while. Are our magazine options still:
-Factory 5 rounds.
-Bartz 7 rounds.
-Or 30 round converted with single follower that will feed 9 or 10 450bm rounds?

Any companies making higher capacity magazines yet for the 450 Bushmaster? The cartridge is gaining more and more popularity. Or has anyone figured out a system to modify a magazine to reliably feed when holding more than 9 or 10 rounds?

Thanks all!

I don't know..I am gonna think our loud here just to get things started... What if you took three 20 round 223 mags, pull springs out, using a chop saw trim the top and bottom off one, cut top off of the third...could you weld them together (maybe using a outside plate) then install a 30 round spring?? That might get you 15 rounds? Maybe try this with two 20 round 223 mags?

i dont know if one of the 556 drum mags would have enough spring tension to support the weight of that many rounds. They're designed for moving/lifting ammo with projectiles 1/5th the weight we're moving.

i suppose it could be engineered to do so, saiga figured it out, but then again... you put a 20 round drum on a saiga and you've got a freaking anchor in your hands. I know... i have one. Fun and all, but with that drum on there and 20 buckshot in the mag... ugh!

even 20 rounds of 7½ lowbrass is having an anchor under your gun

You could sell it as a recoil reduction system.

I have only had my AR 450 for a month. I got it to hunt hogs and deer, deer season ended 2 days ago. For Deer the rules state I can have a 5 round mag but for Hogs I'm pretty sure I can use any magazine. I wouldn't mind having a 10 round magazine..

I have a few ASC 9rd 450B mags, I tweaked the feed lips from the get go and haven't had a problem with them so far. After that, I have an aluminum USGI mag (actual military issue) that I modded and I believe it holds 10 or 11. Also have a CPD .223 30 rd stainless mag that I modified and actually got it to hold 13rds. It was more to see if I could, and I wouldn't recommend it. You have to cut and trim a lot of the follower to make it tilt A LOT, plus I think I had to clip a coil or 2 off the spring. I tried it a couple times, and it seems to work good so far, but I wouldn't trust it for more than range shooting. I think the most your going to reliably get to function in a .223 30rd mag is about 10, maybe 11.

I really like the ASC 9rd 450B mags because they have sidewalls welded in under the feed lips to keep the rounds that are about to be fed into the gun, centered in the mag (like the Bushmaster factory 5rd mags).

I was thinking that a straight stick magazine would work better than a curved one. I think I will take a close look at my 450BM mags and think about how to fit them together to make a straight stick mag. I don't want to cut up my Stainless Steel mags to experiment so 2 or 3 Cheap Aluminum 223 mags may be used.. A couple of weeks ago I was trying to find a ASC 9 rounder but everywhere I looked they were sold out.

Has anyone tried these? They're for .410 shotgun AR uppers, but that also means they're ideal for feeding fat, straight-walled cartridges.

I looked them up on ATI's website and it says they load 2.5" shells, so that's not going to work in a standard ar15.
