Sig Sauer Magazines For $7.99!!!!

Postby The Earl o SAmmich » Fri Apr 06, 2018 2:00 pm

I bought some ammo from a fellow here whom I assume was getting out of the 450 Bushmaster. He threw in two magazines. The magazines were stock looking Sig Sauer 5.56, 30 Round, Black Polymer magazines the two he included hold 13 rounds of 450 Bushmaster and still work with 5.56. I did a Google Search and found these and ordered 5. Just got them. These are a little different and only hold 12. These magazines work right out of the box with 5.56 AND 450 Bushmaster, no mods needed and they are only eight bucks. They are Sig Suaer magazines so they are good quality units for even a 5.56 shooter but because they work so well with the 450 Bushy I thought I would post the link here. Check them out. They work great

Thanks for the info! I have a dozen or so of the original SIG556 polymers that work in 450b right out of the box, but SIG stopped selling them a few years ago. I ordered another dozen of this incarnation, assume they will work just as well. Ya done good!

Yep, just got mine, and they work just as well as the older version, difference being the new ones do not have the molded-in coupler attachment on the exterior like the older mags. I also adjusted the spring tension to be a bit less "firm" since I won't be using these new ones for a 5.56 load.

How many will they hold and still cycle and not pop out of the feedlips?

If you "de-rate" the mag spring by removing a turn or two (see discussion of this process elsewhere on the forum, by Hoot...) you can normally get 10 or 11 in the originals, looks the same for these new ones. I just usually load with 10 because its an easy-to-remember number.
