Just ordered a brake from Ross as well - should be here in a day or two... Right now I am running a KAW Precision linear comp in 458 socom that threaded on my BCA Barrel without any modifications.

The Tromix linear comps looks well made and user friendly. I am going to order one for my 450 BM and another for my 6.5 grendel rifle. **edit, didn't see one for my 6.5 grendel, ordered one for my 450 BM...

The Linear Comp from Tromix arrived today, USPS delivered it to one of my neighbors yesterday and it was redelivered to my place today. It was quickly shipped from Tromix and fit perfectly onto my Shaw barrel. I hope to fire a few rounds with it this weekend

Definitely let us know how it goes. I’m still contemplating getting one, just don’t know which one I would put it on.

I shot 12 rounds thru the Tromix Linear Comp today. No problems, shot with ear muffs on. Recoil felt the same as the stock comp I think? I was using a lower today with different trigger, grip and a recoil pad...either way no problems..

Had some lunch, drove around a bit waiting for a couple of guys shooting .17 rimfire rifles to clear our 100 yard range.. My rifle has a 16" APF upper, Core15 lower with limbsaver butt pad, Rise RA-140 trigger, "Dirty" cold barrel from 12 rounds before lunch. Shot one round of Black box 250 FTX at 100 yards then one at 50 yards, both dead center. I should be good to go for next weekends opening gun season. The only thing I might change..I may install a Hogue grip, last year I used my Core15 lower with Hogue grip and Hogue stock, it has a 6.5 grendel upper on it now.

Coyote was running deer this morning, I was able to take a 40 yard shot and took a 30-35 lb coyote..the Black Box Hornady 250 made a fist sized exit hole.. I had put on a Tromix Linear Comp recently but only shot it with ear muffs on until today. I was in the woods with no muffs on, my ears did not ring after the shot, the linear comp worked perfectly and will stay on the barrel. At lunchtime I went to our range and switched back to the Core15 lower with the Hogue grip and stock, trigger is a Rise RA-340 straight trigger. I also added 8 clicks to bring up bullet impact to 2 1/4 inchs high at 100 yards, shot one at 50 yards it was around an inch high.. I may be able to use a friend of a friend's 300 yard range to check 150, 200, 250 and 300. I prefer to stay under 100 yards in hunting situations.

How do you like the KAW linear comp? It's one I've been considering.

It works well - There is a lot more side blast from the Ross but less recoil. I'll probably stick with the Ross at the range and the KAW Linear Comp in the field
