Well, plans have changed a bit. Stripped upper I was planning to use was an Anderson sport without port door or forward assist. The way the ejection port was shaped, there was no way I could figure how to judge the amount trimmed. I ordered an Aero XL upper to make things easier. Also ordered a KAW Valley linear comp. Hopefully I’ll have it together by the weekend.

Got it together and shot it for function today. Everything was gtg, and I’m extremely happy. I’d post pics, but can’t figure out how to resize them for this forum. Don’t have any problems elsewhere.

Had to include this group. 1st shot on the left was a bore sight. Two shots on the right were over correction on scope adjustment. 10 in the middle put a BIG smile on my face! The 450 has to be the easiest to shoot caliber I’ve owned yet.

That’s a good shooting rig!
Factory ammo or handloads?

Factory 250 FTX. My 225 FTX handloads shoot about 1” lower.
