Has anyone used spray molly on a BCG? If so what were the result?

I have a can here I used to use on bullets and keep wondering about this.

On my original Bushmaster 20" upper with its parkerized finish, I brushed Dow Corning MolyKote G-n paste on the BCG and inside the receiver on glide paths. The almost porous parkerized surface really held the MolyKote. Not so well on my shiny nitrided Bartz BCG. If your spray Moly is a similar product, you will see a much smoother cycle. There is a but. Having the Moly embedded into the parkerizing will retard the smoothing off of the gliding surfaces that we usually associate with break in. You just have to refresh the Moly every now and then to keep it slick. On my 40X BR rig, I swab a small amount on the sear to keep the 2 oz (yes 2 oz) trigger as light as possible.

Geesh, 2oz that would go off with the pluse in your finger tip :o

One of 700 Jewels is set at 1 1/2# and that's plenty light for me.

I haven't had any problems with Lucas gun oil and it's 4 bucks.
Gets a lot of cold weather here in the Wolverine state.
Non toxic also.
Never had any issues with an AR as long it's maintained properly which  got drummed into my head a lot in the army.
If anything seems to be not right clean the rifle thoroughly and oil sparingly cold environments.

I haven't found any reason to go exotic on lubes. I use Hoppe's gun oil or Rem Oil. But I'm in Texas, so extremes of temperature in the low direction are not a concern.
