I put a 450 bushmaster upper on my lower worked like charm. When I tried adjust the stock back It would not move. I finally found the problem. The pin on adjustment lever that goes to buffer tube was bent.Got it apart and fixed. My question is what adjustable stock will hold up to the recoil of the 450? Thanks

I used a Mako GL-Shock stock for a while. Nice sturdy unit, gave a good cheek rest, and reduce felt recoil a bit. By way of its construction, it's rattle free as well, one of my chief dislikes on adjustable stocks.

I run Magpul CTR’s on my 450B rifles. One also has a limbsaver pad on it. Never had an issue.

I also use the Mako GL-Shock stock. Very satisfied with it, and I've not had any problems.

I have a Hogue stock, no problems. Also have another lower with a cheap adjustable with limbsaver pad..used it for a few weeks, again no problems. The Limbsaver does work well with the cheap adjustable stock but the Hogue stock has QD points where the cheapo had none.
