Well I'm a complete idiot when it comes to tinkering on ARs but even I can do that spring. Wasnt aware that something that simple would help recoil

I'd start with a limbsaver, it did the most for me. The recoil reduction thread is a great resource, but the science really stops at what the gun does, not the shoulder.

yea amen to the break being loud while hunting.

i didnt think about it, and when shooting out of my box blind... i had that barrel a good 8-10" out the blind window and it stilll rang my bell.

my ears were singing for day and a half or more from that one shot.
